Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius midrange strategy led by Denzilore Fatehold. It converts frequent scry and surveil triggers into team-wide +1/+1 counters. Early turns focus on establishing mana rocks and cheap utility creatures with scry enter-the-battlefield abilities. In the midgame, Denzilore Fatehold enters with flash, immediately capitalizing on triggers from attacking creatures, blink engines like Teleportation Circle, and passive scry enablers like Thassa, God of the Sea. As counters accumulate, evasion from flying and unblockable effects turns an unassuming utility board into a lethal combat threat. Supporting cards like Elminster and Saheeli, Consul of Oversight provide token swarms and cost reduction, while sweeper effects like Sunfall reset opponent progress if the board falls behind.
