Deck overview

This five-color Dragon reanimator deck is helmed by Scion of the Ur-Dragon, a repeatable tutor that can turn into any Dragon in your graveyard each turn. The primary game plan uses Scion to entomb key Dragons-especially Worldgorger Dragon-then reanimate them with cheap enchantments like Animate Dead to generate infinite mana, which fuels an outlet such as Terror of the Peaks or Hellkite Charger. When the combo is not assembled, the deck relies on the raw power of Dragons like Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient, Old Gnawbone, and Atarka, World Render to overwhelm opponents through combat, often with double strike, extra combats, and massive card draw from The Ur-Dragon's attack trigger. The deck balances explosive mana acceleration (rituals, dorks, land ramp) with robust reanimation and a handful of interaction pieces, allowing it to pivot between combo and combat finishes.
