Deck overview

Ashling, Rekindled // Ashling, Rimebound is the deck's flex engine: the front face loots away dead cards, the back face banks two mana each turn exclusively for mana value 4+ spells. The main plan is a blue-red battlecruiser: develop mana rocks and Elemental/Dragon threats, chain cascades through Sunbird's Invocation and Phoenixes, then turn flying advantage into a kill with Scourge of the Throne, Moraug, and Etali triggers. The deck is built to use the Rimebound face; the Rekindled face exists to filter and to transform back. There is no true hidden commander. It holds up counterspells, can copy Elementals, and finishes with combat damage; Crackle with Power is a backup.
