Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Gruul turbo-combo strategy built to deploy Etali, Primal Conqueror as early as Turn 2 or 3. By packing a dense suite of format-ceiling fast mana, rituals, and cost-cheats like Treasonous Ogre and Geosurge, the deck races to 7 mana ahead of opposing development. When Etali, Primal Conqueror enters the battlefield, its triggered ability immediately exiles and casts the top nonland card from every player's library for free. The deck leverages redundant copy and flicker effects like Twinflame, Molten Duplication, and Electroduplicate to repeatedly trigger Etali, quickly stripping opposing libraries while storming through game-ending spells. Robust anti-counter protection such as Veil of Summer, Destiny Spinner, and Hexing Squelcher ensures that win attempts resolve cleanly. If the commander is unavailable, independent infinite combos like Dualcaster Mage plus Twinflame and Food Chain with Squee, the Immortal provide swift backup finishes on identical turn timers.
