Deck overview

This Izzet deck is an aggressive Voltron shell centered on Wyll, Blade of Frontiers and the Background Sword Coast Sailor. By leveraging low-cost commanders, the deck consistently establishes an unblockable attacker on Turn 3 that scales in power whenever dice are rolled. The deck pairs this unblockable commander damage with damage doublers like Uncivil Unrest, damage distribution through Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar, and extra combat engines like Karlach, Fury of Avernus and Aggravated Assault. Fast mana rocks ensure rapid early deployment, while premium free interaction such as Deflecting Swat and Fierce Guardianship protects Wyll from opposing removal. When the primary Voltron plan is disrupted, high-impact secondary threats like Ancient Copper Dragon and Delina, Wild Mage generate massive resource swings or alternative infinite combat loops.
