Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Rakdos spellslinger strategy that converts noncreature casts into massive, table-wide burn damage. Built around Kuja, Genome Sorcerer, the deck establishes an early board of Wizard creatures and tokens. Once Kuja transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, all Wizard damage is doubled, creating an explosive damage multiplier. The deck accelerates mana using efficient rocks and rituals like Jeska's Will and Battle Hymn, enabling rapid chains of cheap cantrips and burn spells. Supporting amplifiers such as Harmonic Prodigy, Roaming Throne, and Artist's Talent scale each spell trigger, quickly burning out all three opponents in tandem. A comprehensive interaction suite of low-cost removal, MDFC lands, and one-mana death-protection instants shields Kuja from removal while clearing opposing threats. The deck reliably creates a lethal must-answer game state on Turn 5 and eliminates the table by Turn 6.
