Deck overview

This Simic deck is led by the partner pairing of Donatello, the Brains and Michelangelo, the Heart. The strategy focuses on aggressive creature scaling through +1/+1 counters and token generation. Michelangelo, the Heart provides an early attacker that generates Food tokens and places +1/+1 counters on attack, while Donatello, the Brains enhances every token creation event by producing additional Mutagen artifact tokens. These Mutagen tokens allow you to continuously buff your creatures. The deck scales into the mid-game with potent counter doublers and power enhancers like High Score, Innkeeper's Talent, and The Earth Crystal, backed by devastating trampling threats like Leatherhead, Iron Gator and Sin, Unending Cataclysm. A deep suite of counterspells and fight-based removal protects your board state and disrupts opponents, while Wave Goodbye acts as a one-sided board wipe to clear blockers. The deck also harbors a compact infinite loop between Donatello, the Brains and Basking Broodscale for arbitrarily large creature power.
