Deck overview

Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER leads a Naya equipment-voltron deck that wants to suit up Cloud or another modified beater, attack for card advantage and Treasure production, and finish with commander damage or a wide equipment-backed combat step. The primary plan is an accelerated Cloud curve into cheap or free equipping via Sigarda's Aid, Puresteel Paladin, and Forge Anew, using Cloud's attack trigger to chain into more equipment. Secondary paths use Akiri, Armory Paladin, Dogmeat, Red XIII, and large Dragons as alternate attackers. Cloud, Midgar Mercenary is a hidden commander that tutors a key Equipment and doubles Equipment-triggered abilities.
