Deck overview

This deck is an optimized mono-blue control and combo strategy commanded by Urza, Lord High Artificer. Its core game plan revolves around deploying low-cost artifacts and fast mana to cast Urza ahead of curve, turning every artifact into a blue mana generator. Because Tidespout Tyrant is the only creature card in the 99, casting Polymorph or activating Proteus Staff on Urza's Construct token guarantees cheating Tyrant directly onto the battlefield. Once assembled, casting any two low-cost artifacts triggers an infinite bounce loop that generates infinite mana, bounces all opposing permanents, and allows Urza to exile the entire library. The deck then loops Codex Shredder or extra turn spells to eliminate all opponents on the spot. In the intermediate turns, asymmetric stax pieces like Static Orb, Storage Matrix, and Back to Basics cripple opposing development while Urza breaks parity effortlessly, backed by robust free countermagic.
