New Untitled Deck by grottyscum123

Format: Commander

Commander: Gwenom, Remorseless

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black deck pilots Gwenom, Remorseless as a life-fueled value engine and combo facilitator. The primary plan is to accelerate into an early Gwenom, attack to trigger her ability (look at and play cards from the top of your library by paying life instead of mana), then use the resulting card advantage and life-total manipulation to assemble one of several drain-based infinite loops. The deck leans heavily on cheap artifacts for mana, cost reduction, and protection, and its win conditions include Chain of Smog + Professor Onyx, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose + Bloodthirsty Conqueror, and Aetherflux Reservoir with high life totals. The commander's own lifelink ensures the life payments remain sustainable, while a small suite of premium tutors digs for the missing piece. The overall velocity is high, but the deck's extreme artifact density creates a glaring vulnerability to a single resolved hate piece.
