Deck overview

This Simic midrange deck is piloted by Círdan the Shipwright, leveraging political voting and 'Secret Council' triggers to generate extreme card advantage and cheat massive permanents into play. The early game focuses on deploying efficient ramp spells such as Birds of Paradise, Growth Spiral, and Talisman of Curiosity to establish a solid mana base. On Turn 4, Círdan enters the battlefield, initiating a voting mini-game that rewards you with either fresh cards or free permanent drops like Avenger of Zendikar or Koma, Cosmos Serpent. By Turn 5, attacking with Círdan doubles down on board presence, establishing critical onset. The deck quickly closes out the game around Turn 7 through overwhelming combat damage amplified by Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus and value blink loops using Y'shtola Rhul and Lilysplash Mentor.
