Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger storm list helmed by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi serves as both a primary win condition and an explosive ritual engine: every noncreature spell cast places a +1/+1 counter on Vivi, burns each opponent for 1 damage, and inflates Vivi's power for its once-per-turn {0} mana activation. The deck leverages efficient card filtering, free countermagic, and high-impact draw engines such as Curiosity and Archmage Emeritus to churn through the library in a single burst. It closes games on Turn 4 via lethal Vivi burn, Chandra's Ignition, Aetherflux Reservoir, or an infinite untap loop with Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal. Robust interaction like Fierce Guardianship, Force of Will, and Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun ensures that combo attempts are safely defended against opposing disruption.
