Elves Thranduil by Aragtogh

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a Sultai Elf-tribal deck that uses the graveyard as a second library. The primary plan is to ramp with Elves, mill or loot key Elf cards into the graveyard, then cast Thranduil to unlock every activated ability available there, turning him into a combo/toolbox engine. The main finish is an infinite-mana loop with Devoted Druid and Immaculate Magistrate, pumped by Tyvar, the Pummeler, and finished by Jarad's sacrifice drain. A secondary plan is go-wide Elf tokens and lords, with Lathril, Shaman of the Pack, and opposing life-total pressure. The deck is medium-high speed, interaction-heavy, and depends on protecting its graveyard and commander.
