Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Ragost, Deft Gastronaut leads a fast Boros artifact-combo deck. The main path is Heliod, Sun-Crowned plus Walking Ballista for infinite life and damage, and a second infinite-mana channel uses Basalt Monolith with Zirda, the Dawnwaker to feed Ballista. Ragost acts as a supplementary outlet and value engine: every artifact becomes a Food, so token generators like Academy Manufactor and Nuka-Cola Vending Machine convert into 3 damage to each opponent when combined with untap effects. A dense fast-mana and tutor package (Sol Ring, Moxen, Enlightened Tutor, Recruiter effects) assembles these lines early, while Underworld Breach, Wheel of Fortune, and Lion's Eye Diamond form a backup storm-adjacent path. Zirda is a hidden combo piece in the 99, not a companion.
