Deck overview

This Grixis deck unites Pirate tribal synergies and Vehicle combat under Edward Kenway to create a lethal hybrid of aggro, value, and combo. Edward generates explosive Treasure ramp on the end step for each tapped Pirate, Assassin, and Vehicle, while turning Vehicle combat connections into card theft. The deck accelerates through early turns using efficient mana rocks and low-curve Pirates, quickly assembling the compact two-card infinite combo of Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator and Glint-Horn Buccaneer. When attacking with Glint-Horn, each discard deals damage to all opponents, prompting Malcolm to generate three Treasures, which continually refuels Glint-Horn's activation until the table is eliminated. Outside of the combo, the deck exerts heavy board pressure through Vehicle beatdown, creature theft via Coercive Recruiter, life drain with Mirkwood Bats, and alternate win conditions like Revel in Riches. A robust suite of reanimation, protection, and versatile removal ensures resilient execution across multiplayer games.
