Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger deck is commanded by Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph, whose ability triples any single point of damage dealt by your permanents and spells into 3 damage. The strategy deploys low-cost pingers such as Firebrand Archer and Coruscation Mage alongside 1-damage sweepers like Blazing Volley, turning every cheap cantrip into heavy global burn and one-sided board wipes. Card draw enchantments like Curiosity and Ophidian Eye turn Ghyrson into an overwhelming card engine by drawing a card for each opponent damaged. Mana engines like Storm-Kiln Artist and Birgi, God of Storytelling provide the fuel needed to storm through the deck. The deck closes games either through repeated burn triggers amplified across the table or by assembling the infinite two-card combo of Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity to draw the library and defeat all opponents instantly.
