Deck overview

This mono-red deck revolves around Toralf, God of Fury, using damage-based sweepers to convert surplus creature damage into lethal direct burn. The deck accelerates through early turns with low-cost mana rocks, burst rituals, and Treasure producers like Ruby Medallion, Runaway Steam-Kin, and Jeska's Will. Once Toralf is deployed, the deck resolves mass-damage spells such as Blasphemous Act or Chain Reaction. When these spells overkill opposing creatures, Toralf redirects the excess damage directly to opponents' life totals, creating an immediate same-turn table elimination. Damage amplifiers like Torbran, Thane of Red Fell and Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might escalate low-damage triggers into game-ending bursts. Impulsive draw engines including Virtue of Courage and Palantír of Orthanc maintain a steady flow of resources. The deck protects its primary combo with efficient redirection spells like Bolt Bend and Wyll's Reversal, while backup threats like Terror of the Peaks and Purphoros, God of the Forge close games if Toralf is contained.
