Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain kindred midrange build commanded by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. It combines aggressive creature combat, connive card selection, and steady life-drain triggers to pressure all three opponents simultaneously. Early turns establish mana acceleration and low-cost Villains such as Prowler, Clawed Thief and Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord. Once Doctor Doom enters on Turn 4, the deck generates repeatable combat connive triggers, filtering cards while pinging opponents for 2 life whenever lands are discarded and growing creatures into menacing threats. As the game transitions into the midgame, token generators like Madame Hydra, Ultron, Unlimited, and Mysterio, Master of Illusion build a formidable army. The deck reaches critical mass around Turn 6 with anthem effects like The Squadron Sinister and heavy drain engines such as Cool but Rude and Syr Konrad, the Grim, closing the game on Turn 7 through evasive combat damage and Mayhem graveyard casts.
