Deck overview

Giada, Font of Hope turns a wide group of expensive Angels into a scalable flying creature engine. The deck's normal plan is to deploy Giada early, add Angels and cost reducers, then use counters, lifegain, vigilance, and anthems to build a large evasive board. Righteous Valkyrie, Lyra Dawnbringer, Exemplar of Light, and Norn's Choirmaster reward continued deployment, while Sephara, Sky's Blade and Swiftfoot Boots provide some protection. The deck also carries broad creature and permanent removal through Swords to Plowshares, Austere Command, Cleansing Nova, and related effects. Its main weakness is speed: most cards are expensive, the deck has limited selection, and it lacks countermagic or a compact combo. It usually assembles an operating board around turn 4, creates a must-answer combat position around turn 6, and requires multiple attacks to eliminate the table. It is strongest in slower creature-oriented games where its scaling Angels survive long enough to compound.
