Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis aggro-attrition strategy built around Villain tribal synergies and looting effects. Led by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, the deck aims to curve low-cost Villains into its commander by Turn 4, immediately generating value through combat connive triggers. Conniving filters card quality, buffs attackers with +1/+1 counters, and turns discarded lands into direct table-wide life loss. The deck expands its board presence through token generators like Madame Hydra and Ultron, Unlimited, while locking down combat using evasive menace attacks. Mid-game payoffs like The Squadron Sinister, Archfiend of Ifnir, and Living Laser transform card cycling into board wipes and lethal combat damage. Supported by efficient Grixis removal spells including Toxic Deluge and Bedevil, the deck systematically wears down opposing life totals and stabilizes the board to close the game across Turns 6 and 7.
