Bye Bye by Dauth95

Format: Commander

Commander: Homer, the Hermit

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Sultai landfall deck, helmed by Homer, the Hermit, is a dedicated mill strategy that leverages multiple land drops per turn to fuel both incremental mill and explosive combo finishes. The commander itself mills opponents based on the number of Crabs, Lobsters, Nautiluses, Starfish, and Trilobites you control, but the deck's primary win conditions are two-card infinite mill combos: Grindstone + Painter's Servant (with Bruvac the Grandiloquent to double) and Bruvac the Grandiloquent + kicked Maddening Cacophony. A dense ramp package (Exploration, Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Burgeoning, Oracle of Mul Daya) and landfall payoffs like Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait and Tatyova, Benthic Druid provide card advantage and acceleration. The deck also runs a robust tutor suite to find combo pieces and a handful of counterspells to protect its winning turn.
