Deck overview

This deck is a high-impact Mardu aggro build commanded by Kaalia of the Vast, focused on cheating massive Angels, Demons, and Dragons into play tapped and attacking as early as Turn 4. The opening turns prioritize mana fixing and haste equipment like Lightning Greaves or Swiftfoot Boots to ensure Kaalia attacks immediately upon entering the battlefield. Once attacking, Kaalia cheats overwhelming bombs such as Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, and Archangel of Strife, building a lethal aerial armada that eliminates the table across two response cycles. The list includes comprehensive interaction and protection packages, leveraging Sunforger to tutor instant-speed removal or defensive spells like Boros Charm and Clever Concealment. Stax pieces like High Noon restrict opponent spell velocity without impeding Kaalia's attack triggers, while an alternate Dualcaster Mage and Saw in Half infinite loop provides non-combat victory potential.
