King of Dale by risky

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is the engine of an Azorius draw-and-token deck. The primary plan is to deploy Bard, then chain second-draw triggers from Prince Imrahil the Fair, Homunculus Horde, and Emrakul's Messenger into a massive token board. Token doublers Elspeth, Storm Slayer and Exalted Sunborn turn every token into four, while Myrel, Shield of Argive and Moonshaker Cavalry close out the game. A secondary drain line uses Consecrated Sphinx with Psychosis Crawler, and a tertiary Laboratory Maniac/Jace, Wielder of Mysteries win exists but lacks reliable self-mill. The deck is commander-centric but has multiple backup doublers in Teferi's Ageless Insight and Elspeth, Sun's Champion.
