Gandalf 2.0 by Jhinigami

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gandalf, Party Guest leads a Jeskai legendary Wizard spellslinger deck that wins with wide, pumped attacks. You build a board of legendary Wizards to increase Gandalf's free-cast value (X equals twice your legendary Wizards) and cheat an instant or sorcery at the start of combat without paying its cost. Payoffs like Balmor, Battlemage Captain, Adeliz, the Cinder Wind, and Jeskai Ascendancy pump your creatures whenever you cast noncreature spells, while Veyran, Voice of Duality, Harmonic Prodigy, Roaming Throne, and Thousand-Year Storm multiply triggers and copies. Extra combats and extra turns close the game, with secondary burn from Vivi Ornitier, Gandalf the Grey, and Niv-Mizzet, Visionary. Kykar, Wind's Fury acts as a hidden commander that makes bodies and mana independently.
