Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger storm deck commanded by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi serves as a cheap, versatile engine that grows larger with every noncreature spell, generates burst mana equal to its power, and damages every opponent simultaneously. The primary win condition leverages auras and effects like Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, and Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi deals noncombat damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, a single cast triggers three card draws. This fuels a continuous storm sequence of 1-mana cantrips, free protection spells, and rituals, generating positive mana with Vivi's {0} activation and burning the entire table out in a single turn. The deck also features the compact infinite combo of Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal, which generates infinite storm and triggers Vivi for an immediate table kill. Supported by efficient countermagic and fast mana, the deck reliably attempts a protected victory on Turn 3 or 4.
