Mono-red warp by user2422427

Format: Commander

Commander: Tannuk, Steadfast Second

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-red warp-and-cascade value deck helmed by Tannuk, Steadfast Second. The commander's defining contribution is granting warp {2}{R} to every artifact card and red creature card in hand, letting the deck cheat out its top-heavy threats - most of the 99 sits at 5+ mana - for a fraction of their cost, then re-cast them from exile on later turns. Tannuk also gives every other creature haste, so each warped-in threat swings immediately. The deck layers several overlapping value engines - cascade (Aurora Phoenix, Boarding Party, Maelstrom Colossus), etb burn (Warstorm Surge, Terror of the Peaks), extra combats (Scourge of the Throne, Avatar of Slaughter, Blast-Furnace Hellkite), and theft (Molten Primordial, Firbolg Flutist) - to close games through overwhelming combat damage rather than a single combo line.
