Commander: Kykar, Wind's Fury

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kykar, Wind's Fury leads a Jeskai spells-matter deck that aims to convert every noncreature spell into flying Spirit tokens while turbo-charging that output with drake-style payoffs like Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Firebrand Archer. The primary plan is to bury opponents in a mix of small burn triggers, evasive Spirit beats, and explosive X-spell finishes like Devil's Play and Fireball. A secondary line leverages Sunforger to repeatedly fetch silver-bullet instants in combat, while The Key to the Vault offers card advantage and free spell casts. The deck is a midrange tempo combo hybrid with a low curve (2.56 MV), heavy interaction on the stack and in combat, and moderate resilience to commander removal since many burn and token payoffs remain online without Kykar.
