Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Rogue tribal tempo and mill strategy commanded by Anowon, the Ruin Thief. The primary plan deploys low-cost, evasive Rogues during early turns to establish consistent chip damage and early mana velocity. Once Anowon enters on Turn 4, combat connections trigger continuous mill and card draw, converting small attacks into steady card advantage. The deck transitions into a lethal clock around Turn 6 by utilizing Rogue anthems like Stinkdrinker Bandit and token-generating extra-turn spells such as Notorious Throng. Supporting interaction includes efficient spot removal and countermagic to protect key pieces and disrupt high-threat opposing plays. Incidental attrition from Polluted Bonds and Grave Pact drains opponents while the evasive board finishes the game across consecutive combat steps by Turn 8.
