Deck overview

This Sultai deck is an aggressive Voltron and spell-theft strategy piloted by Kotis, the Fangkeeper. Kotis brings built-in indestructibility to the table, providing native resilience against standard removal and board wipes. The game plan focuses on ramping during the early turns, casting Kotis, and rapidly attaching high-impact Auras and Equipment like Blackblade Reforged, Power Fist, and Fireshrieker. When Kotis connects for combat damage, its trigger exiles an equal number of cards from the defending player's library and casts all eligible spells without paying their mana costs. This creates an exponential tempo swing, draining opposing resources while flooding your board with free spells. Supported by proactive protection like Conqueror's Flail and Veil of Summer, combat draw engines such as Toski, Bearer of Secrets, and defensive taxation from Propaganda, the deck systematically eliminates opponents with lethal commander damage while turning their own best cards against them.
