Calling All Angels - They're Just Like Us, but Cooler and with Wings

Format: Commander

Commander: Giada, Font of Hope

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 37

Deck overview

This deck is a dedicated Mono-White Angel tribal strategy led by Giada, Font of Hope. Giada functions as both a reliable mana dork for tribal spells and an escalating counter engine that turns every subsequent Angel into a formidable aerial threat. The deck curves low-cost enablers like Youthful Valkyrie and Bishop of Wings into heavy-hitting anthems such as Righteous Valkyrie and Lyra Dawnbringer. As the battlefield grows, massive lifegain triggers bolster life totals past critical thresholds, unlocking substantial power buffs and token generation. Evasion in the air allows the deck to bypass ground defenses and eliminate opponents over consecutive combat steps. While vulnerable to board wipes and lacking blue countermagic, the deck features resilient options like Sephara, Sky's Blade and potent recovery through high threat density. It delivers a linear, aggressive mid-game clock supported by efficient point removal.
