Deck overview

This deck wins by building a large creature and token board around Queen Allenal of Ruadach. Every token event creates an extra Soldier, which makes Torens, Fist of the Angels, Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Hero of Bladehold, Rhys the Redeemed, and Springheart Nantuko especially valuable. Tocasia's Welcome, Staff of the Storyteller, Welcoming Vampire, and Idol of Oblivion help replace the cards spent developing the board. The main combat payoff is Beastmaster Ascension, supported by Thunderfoot Baloth, Divine Visitation, Elspeth, Storm Slayer, and Primal Vigor. Ordinary assembly is around turn 6, with a critical combat threat around turn 7 and a likely table finish around turn 9 if the board survives. The deck has useful creature and permanent removal plus several indestructible effects, but its enchantments and creature engines remain exposed to sweepers and targeted disruption. It is a strong casual or high-power battlecruiser strategy, not a compact competitive combo deck.
