Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck uses efficient, over-statted creatures to quickly reduce the casting cost of Ghalta, Primal Hunger to just two green mana. Early turns focus on playing 1-mana ramp into 3-mana creatures with 5 or more power, such as Steel Leaf Champion and Pugnacious Hammerskull. This explosive board presence lets you cast a 12/12 trampling commander as early as Turn 4. Card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond replenish your hand whenever high-power threats enter the battlefield. The deck closes games through overwhelming combat damage, leveraging force multipliers like Unnatural Growth and Overwhelming Stampede to eliminate the entire table across consecutive combat steps. While it packs high resilience against single-target removal thanks to large stats and cheap recasts, it remains vulnerable to mass sweepers and lacks stack-based countermagic.
