Deck overview

Homer, the Hermit is the centerpiece of a landfall-mill strategy. The deck ramps heavily to cast Homer quickly, then increases Homer's mill count with Crabs, Starfish, trilobites, and changelings. Landfall doublers and extra-land-play effects multiply Homer's triggers, and mass-land spells like Scapeshift and Splendid Reclamation turn a large land drop into a game-ending mill. Bruvac the Grandiloquent and The Water Crystal double the mill yield. The deck also has value engines such as Aesi, Tatyova, and Muldrotha to keep cards flowing, and a secondary mill plan through Hedron Crab and Ruin Crab if Homer is unavailable.
