Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Orzhov Voltron and combat-reanimator deck commanded by Squall, SeeD Mercenary. Squall's Rough Divide ability grants double strike whenever a creature attacks alone. When Squall connects with combat damage, it returns a permanent with mana value 3 or less from the graveyard to the battlefield. Because double strike creates two separate combat damage steps, Squall generates two reanimation triggers in a single combat. The deck leverages this synergy by loading the graveyard with high-impact utility permanents, such as Fleshbag Marauder, Cathar Commando, and Kaya's Ghostform. Power-boosting equipment and auras like Blackblade Reforged, Idolized, and All That Glitters turn Squall into a rapid commander damage threat. Inherent protection pieces like Bastion Protector, General's Enforcer, and Boromir, Warden of the Tower are continuously reanimated by Squall during combat, forming a resilient, self-repairing engine that systematically eliminates opponents one by one.
