Format: Commander

Commander: Ganax, Astral Hunter and Acolyte of Bahamut

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ganax, Astral Hunter plus Acolyte of Bahamut is a Gruul Dragon-tribal value deck: Acolyte discounts the first Dragon each turn, Ganax turns every Dragon ETB into Treasures, and those Treasures feed the next 6-7 drop. The main plan is to chain dragons and close with extra-combat mana engines; the most reliable kill is Old Gnawbone funding Hellkite Charger for infinite attack steps. Secondary plans are Dragon Tempest/Scourge of Valkas pings, Atarka double strikes, and Finale of Devastation as an overrun. The deck is visibly built around the Ganax-Acolyte engine; the hidden engine behind that pair is Old Gnawbone.
