Deck overview

This Abzan Food/artifact deck is an engine-combo list built around Pippin and Merry as support rather than required pieces. Pippin generates Food and a surprise haste overrun; Merry turns artifact ETBs into lifelink Soldiers. The primary kill is the infinite Cauldron Familiar loop: Samwise creates Food on each nontoken creature ETB, and Academy Manufactor upgrades that Food into Clue, Food, and Treasure, letting the Cat return forever while draining everyone. Secondary paths are Ad Nauseam plus Teferi's Protection to draw the library, and a Craterhoof/token swarm. No double-faced or hidden commander is being used; the partner pair is the build's engine.
