Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos group slug and combo strategy commanded by Mogis, God of Slaughter. The game plan revolves around deploying Mogis, God of Slaughter on Turn 4 to apply constant upkeep pressure on opponents' life totals and creature boards. The mid-game reinforces this attrition with punishing continuous effects such as Painful Quandary, Blood Moon, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, which severely restrict opposing development and life totals. To close the game decisively, the deck pivots into compact infinite combos, primarily Dualcaster Mage paired with Twinflame or Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker paired with Combat Celebrant, generating infinite hasty attackers to defeat the entire table in a single combat phase. High-synergy interaction cards like Deflecting Swat, Deadly Rollick, and Rakdos Charm protect the combo window and disrupt key opposing threats while breaking parity under heavy tax effects.
