Deck overview

This Gruul Midrange deck is commanded by Aerid Konstrari, focusing on artifact synergy, ramp, and combat dominance. The game plan centers on deploying early artifact ramp, generating utility tokens (Heartwoods, Vibranium, and Powerstones), and resolving high-impact artifact creatures. Aerid Konstrari accelerates mana by creating Heartwood tokens upon entering and dying, while also functioning as an evasive win condition through its scaling power pump. Mid-game card advantage engines like Vaultborn Tyrant, The Great Henge, and Meria, Scholar of Antiquity ensure a continuous flow of threats. The deck closes games either through commander damage in the air or by overwhelming the board with massive trampling constructs like Depthshaker Titan, Darksteel Colossus, and Pyrewood Gearhulk. Asymmetric sweepers like Delete clear opposing boards while keeping the deck's artifact army intact.
