Deck overview

This Abzan lands deck converts extra land drops into card advantage and an overwhelming token army. Thalia and The Gitrog Monster is the core engine: it grants an additional land per turn, forces opponents' creatures and nonbasic lands to enter tapped, and draws a card when it attacks. The primary plan stacks Exploration, Azusa, Dryad of the Ilysian Grove and graveyard recursion (Ramunap Excavator, Crucible of Worlds) to power Field of the Dead, Scute Swarm, Avenger of Zendikar and Felidar Retreat, then wins with Craterhoof Behemoth or Finale of Devastation. Secondary value comes from Titania and Ob Nixilis landfall triggers and Protean Hulk. The Gitrog Monster functions as hidden commander enabling the Necrobloom dredge-draw loop.
