Smaug by Kravok

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug, Wicked Worm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The deck is a Smaug-family treasure engine built around the commander's ETB burst and Treasure-cast draw trigger. The primary plan is to convert artifacts into a huge Treasure board, then close with Mirkwood Bats/Nadier's Nightblade drains or a dragon kill. The fastest clean line is There and Back Again into Ruthless Technomancer, sacrificing the Smaug token for twenty Treasures and draining for exact lethal. Secondary paths are Revel in Riches, Knuckles's thirty-artifact upkeep win, and combat from Smaug the Magnificent/Smaug the Impenetrable. Smaug the Magnificent acts as the hidden commander of the beatdown plan; Smaug, the Great Calamity contributes its Adventure removal and a haste Dragon body.
