Commander: Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow is a Dimir tempo deck that turns cheap unblockable creatures into card advantage and universal life drain. The primary plan is to ninjutsu Yuriko as early as turn two, then keep attacking with a growing Ninja team so every hit reveals high-mana-value cards. Secondary paths include "sneak" creatures such as Elektra, Daughter of the Hand and Splinter's Technique to generate extra triggers, and Roaming Throne to double Ninja triggers. The commander is the deck's drain engine and card-advantage engine; cantrips and library-stacking effects ensure each reveal is curated to maximize mana value. There is no hidden commander in the 99; the single-faced commander is essential to the strategy.
