Deck overview

This Izzet deck is an artifact-focused midrange strategy commanded by Tony Stark // The Invincible Iron Man. The early game focuses on deploying cost-reducers and mana rocks while utilizing Tony's front-side activated ability to dig for high-impact artifacts. By Turn 5, the deck pays six mana to transform Tony Stark into The Invincible Iron Man, a 5/5 flying and haste threat that cheats massive artifacts directly into play at the start of combat. Payoffs like Cybermen Squadron, Akroma's Memorial, and Darksteel Forge create overwhelming combat disparity, while finishers such as Cyberdrive Awakener and Simulacrum Synthesizer turn utility rocks into lethal armies. The deck features strong redundancy and backup lines, though its heavy reliance on artifact permanents leaves it vulnerable to mass artifact removal.
