Deck overview

This Boros deck executes a classic Equipment aggro and Voltron strategy led by Nahiri, Forged in Fury. It curves out early with low-cost Equipment, token-generating living weapons, and mana acceleration to lower Nahiri's casting cost through affinity. Once Nahiri and supporting enablers like Puresteel Paladin, Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, or Sigarda's Aid enter the battlefield, attacking with equipped creatures triggers impulse card advantage and casts expensive Equipment for free. Heavy-hitting Equipment such as Kaldra Compleat, Blackblade Reforged, and Embercleave deliver lethal combat damage to eliminate opponents one by one. The list features strong tutor density for key artifacts, multilayered protection from damage and targeted spells, and powerful graveyard recursion spells like Mantle of the Ancients to rebuild after removal.
