Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black aristocrats and combo engine that leverages life manipulation, sacrifice loops, and big-mana acceleration. Commanded by Mortarion, Daemon Primarch, the list uses incidental and deliberate life loss to assemble wide boards, but its core strength lies in its independent combo packages and devastating resource attrition. The primary win condition revolves around assembling Bloodthirsty Conqueror alongside Sanguine Bond, establishing a deterministic, instant-speed drain loop that eliminates all three opponents in a single turn. Alternatively, the deck can generate infinite enter-and-death triggers using Gravecrawler and Phyrexian Altar with a drain payoff like Blood Artist or Bastion of Remembrance, or cast a lethal Torment of Hailfire powered by Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast. Continuous board control is maintained through Grave Pact and recurring sacrifice fodder, while low-cost reanimation spells ensure rapid recovery from interaction. Although it lacks stack interaction and artifact removal, its sheer card flow and redundant win conditions make it highly resilient.
