kona by MallardMoffia

Format: Commander

Commander: Kona, Rescue Beastie

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck leverages Kona, Rescue Beastie to bypass steep mana costs and cheat massive threats directly onto the battlefield. By using non-combat tap outlets like Vehicles, utility lands, and creature abilities, Kona safely triggers its Survival ability at the beginning of the second main phase without risking combat death. Once the engine is active, you deploy overwhelming permanents including Blightsteel Colossus, Archetype of Endurance, and Sandwurm Convergence turns ahead of schedule. The game plan culminates in decisive combat victories powered by board-wide pump effects like Overwhelming Stampede, massive trample damage, or single-hit infect eliminations backed by hexproof and indestructible protection.
