Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Faeries flash-control strategy commanded by Alela, Cunning Conqueror. It focuses on operating entirely at instant speed, casting spells during opponents' turns to generate an evasive army of 1/1 flying Faerie Rogue tokens. By connecting in combat with these flyers, Alela goads opposing threats, protecting the pilot while forcing opponents to deplete each other's life totals. The interaction suite is deeply integrated with the token engine, rewarding reactive counterspells and removal with immediate board development. As the Faerie swarm expands, the deck transitions into a lethal closing phase using asymmetric board bounces like Raise the Palisade, kindred anthems like Glen Elendra Liege, dragon transformations via Shadow Puppeteers, or extra combat turns via Notorious Throng. The deck excels at resource parity and combat manipulation while maintaining strong defensive shielding through open mana.
