Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Faerie kindred tempo strategy led by Obyra, Dreaming Duelist. It aims to control the pace of the game using instant-speed flash threats, countermagic, and token generation. Early turns establish mana rocks and incremental token engines such as Bitterblossom or Alela, Cunning Conqueror. Once Obyra, Dreaming Duelist is on the battlefield, every entering Faerie drains each opponent for 1 life. Mid-game engines like Kindred Discovery and Reconnaissance Mission refill the hand whenever evasive flyers attack. The deck closes games around Turn 7 to 9 by leveraging mass evasion buffs such as Shadow Puppeteers, taking extra turns with a prowled Notorious Throng, or clearing blockers with asymmetric bounce like Raise the Palisade. It excels at playing at instant speed during opponents' turns while keeping defensive mana open.
