Deck overview

This deck is a aggressive Rakdos burn-infect hybrid commanded by Ingris Stingerquill. The strategy leverages Ingris's ability to turn every attacking creature into a global damage dealer. Because creatures with the infect mechanic deal damage to players in the form of poison counters, Ingris's trigger forces every attacking infect creature to give a poison counter to each opponent simultaneously upon declaring an attack. Supported by low-cost infect creatures such as Plague Stinger, Flensermite, and Hand of the Praetors, the deck rapidly applies table-wide poison pressure without needing to connect through combat blockers. Robust haste enablers, token generation, and reanimation spells ensure relentless pressure across consecutive turns, threatening a clean table elimination by Turn 7. While vulnerable to creature sweepers and lacking enchantment removal, the deck's direct noncombat poison scaling bypasses standard defensive boards.
