Scion of the ur dragon cool (copies) by Crimbin

Format: Commander

Commander: Scion of the Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a five-color Dragon reanimator built around Scion of the Ur-Dragon. Scion's {2} activation is the engine: it searches any Dragon permanent directly into the graveyard and turns Scion into a copy of it, making the commander a command-zone tutor for the deck's Dragon toolbox. The fastest primary finish is the Niv-Mizzet, Parun + Curiosity loop, usually assembled by having Scion copy Niv and then starting the draw-ping cycle with an instant or sorcery. Behind that sits a full reanimation package - Reanimate, Animate Dead, Exhume, Victimize, Bloodline Bidding - plus Entomb and Buried Alive to cheat out The Ur-Dragon, Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, and the Treasure Dragons. Old Gnawbone and Ancient Copper Dragon fuel Magda, Brazen Outlaw and a Hellkite Tyrant alternate artifact win, while free counters and Silence protect the kill turn.
