Deck overview

Phenax, God of Deception commands a Dimir mill and combo deck that leverages high-toughness creatures as repeatable library depletion engines. The primary plan deploys undercosted defenders like Charix, the Raging Isle and Tree of Perdition, turning their massive defensive stats into game-ending mill bursts once Phenax hits the board. Secondary lines execute deterministically through synergistic combos, including Eater of the Dead looping untaps to exile and mill all libraries, or Duskmantle Guildmage pairing with The Master of Lake-town to drain the table in an infinite loop. Supported by countermagic and mass mill sorceries, the deck controls the board before rapidly decimating opposing decks.
